These terms cover your use of DoneThis Today. By using the app — with or without an account — you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the app. Questions go to julien@donethis.today.

Julien Colot, an EU-based individual (Belgium). No company, no team — a one-person side project, offered free of charge.

DoneThis Today is a personal to-do and scheduling app that places tasks on a live, schedule-aware timeline. It's provided as-is for your own personal task management. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time as the project evolves.

You must be old enough to form a binding agreement and to consent to the processing of personal data where you live (in the EU, generally 16, or younger with a guardian's consent). If you're under that age, please don't create an account.

You're responsible for keeping access to your account — and to the Google or GitHub account you sign in with — secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell me promptly at julien@donethis.today if you suspect unauthorised access.

You can use DoneThis Today without an account. In guest mode all data lives only in your browser's local storage — nothing is sent to any server, and nothing is backed up. Clearing your browser data, switching devices, or losing the device means losing that data. If you later create an account, your local tasks are merged into it. See the privacy notice for details on data handling.

Use the app for its intended purpose. Don't:

• attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the service, other users' data, or the underlying infrastructure;
• use the app to store or distribute unlawful content, or for any unlawful purpose;
• automate access in a way that degrades the service for others, or scrape it at scale;
• attempt to access, read, or interfere with data belonging to other users.

The app is scoped so signed-in users can only see their own tasks; deliberately circumventing that is a breach of these terms.

Your tasks and the text you enter remain yours. Using the app grants no ownership of your content to me, and I claim none. The only permission you give is the minimum technically required to run the app for you — storing your data and showing it back to you. As stated in the privacy notice, your data is never used to train any AI or machine-learning model, and never shared with third parties for any purpose beyond providing the app.

This is a free side project. There's no uptime guarantee, no service level, and no promise of support. The service may be slow, interrupted, or discontinued at any time. Keep your own copy of anything important — you can export your data at any time from the app's settings.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, reliability, or that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. You use it at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app — including lost data, missed tasks, or missed deadlines. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory consumer rights under EU and Belgian law are unaffected.

You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account by emailing julien@donethis.today (see the privacy notice for what deletion removes). I may suspend or terminate access that breaches these terms or that puts the service or other users at risk.

These terms are governed by Belgian law, and disputes fall under the courts competent for Belgium, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence within the EU.

If these terms change meaningfully, the "Last updated" date at the top will move. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
